Can I be around paint fumes during my pregnancy? We're repainting our house so can I help my husband?

In brief: Latex paint, Yes
Latex paint is water based and soap washable and generally does not produce "fumes" that can harm a pregnancy after the first trimester. I would not expose the pregnancy to oil based paint fumes during any trimester of the pregnancy.
I would wear a mask if helping paint with your husband as a further precaution and again not during the first trimester of pregnancy.
