I have gilbert. Slightly high sgot and sgpt. Fatty liver. Can carbo intolerance leads to fatty liver?
Yes, it can. Intolerance to carbs or glucose probably means Insulin resistance, which is also related to accumulation of fat in the liver.
I am a 42 male with proven gilbert syndrome with ^bilrubin, ^sgot ^sgpt. Recent usg shows changed eco texture of liver. Kindly advice.
More than Gilbert's. Gilbert's is very common and does not produce elevated SGOT or sgpt. Something else is going on. If still up when you're off meds & alcohol (if applicable), a check for hepatitis b, c, hemochromatosis, wilson's, autoimmune hepatitis (maybe), antitrypsin deficiency might be in order. If it's fatty-textured, a new fitness-focused lifestyle might be the start of the best years of your life.

Need more info. How much do you weigh? Do you drink alcohol? Are you diabetic? No cholesterol is unlikely to be correct. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex.
Fatty liver. Those with a fatty liver should generally limit fat intake, limit alcohol intake and lose weight (if there's weight to lose) via proper diet and regular exercise. That being said, it would be OK to treat yourself to a fatty meal every once in a while, meaning once a week or two. Realize that all meals will have some fat in them, so it's not like you're completely avoiding fat otherwise.
