In brief: Stress?

Stress is a common cause for hair loss and if your thyroid has been found to be normal, make sure you don't have iron def anemia which may lead to hair loss as well.
It appears that you are under a lot of stress and until that can be managed, the hair loss will likely continue. See dermatologist if problem persists.

In brief: Revisit the doctor

Many people have no thyroid gland (due to it being removed for some reason).
Such people do fine on life-long thyroid hormone medication such as Synthroid pills. Blood tests are needed to make sure their hormone levels are in balance. Also, many people do not have a proper diet (otherwise, we would not have our obesity epidemic). Start by converting to a healthy, natural diet. Revisit the doctor.

In brief: See a derematologist

You must begin with a diagnosis.
That requires exam by a dermatologist. Do not blame it on stress. Do not fool around: see a pro. Telogen effluvium? Severe weight loss? Menstrual change? Meds or supplements? Alopecia areata? Thyroid change? Skin disease? Illness, surgery, injury, fever?
