In brief: Facial pain

The cause you mention is one possibility but there are others and all need to be investigated.
Migraine, ear infection, trigeminal neuralgia are among them. Please see your doctor. Once a diagnosis is made you can decide on treatment and biofeedback and or clinical hypnosis (www.asch.net) can be a valuable part of it. Peace and good health.
