If you have HPV, can you give it to your children if you kiss, bathe or change their diapers? I don't know if I have this or not. I have never had warts & all my pap smears have been normal. My hubby has never had warts either.

In brief: Child care

Genital HPV - the types that cause genital warts, cervical dysplasia, cervical cancer, penile cancer, anal cancer and throat cancer are transmitted sexually.
These types of HPV are not transmitted through providing child care. Since you have never had genital warts or an abnormal pap smear then there is not currently a reason for you to fear HPV.
