Hi doc, if I’m experiencing a yellow discharge and slight itching in the vagina, could this be a yeast infection? There’s no burning or pain though.

In brief: STD? Yeast? Other?

Colored vaginal discharge usually indicates an infection other than yeast.
Depending on sexual risks (new partner, partner with other partners, etc), STDs are especially likely, e.g. gonorrhea or chlamydia. Yeast also is possible and typically causes itching, but probably less likely, so don't treat yourself for yeast. See a doctor soon for exam and testing. Good luck!

In brief: Must be cultured

especially if you are having unprotected sexual intercourse.
I suggest a GYN exam and testing.
