Frequent burping, & some stomach discomfort that feels like burning or hunger (not really pain exactly). Does this sound more like reflux or h pylori?

In brief: Neither

Belching and regurgitation can represent acid-peptic symptoms.
Acid irritation of the lining of the stomach usually kills the appetite. Reflux usually gives a sternal burning and acid taste in the mouth. H pylori ulcers cause severe, stabbing upper abdominal pain. Just treat with Zantac or Prilosec for now to treat what sounds like gastritis.
