I have Ureaplasma urealyticum. How do you know if you should treat it? I am showing no symptoms.

In brief: No treatment needed

Ureaplasma urealyticum is normal in the genital tract (at any time, up to 50% of all people have it).
In absence of symptoms, no treatment is necessary (and there really is no point in even testing for it). UU is an occasional cause of nongonococcal urethritis (NGU), but chlamydia and other things cause most cases. NGU needs treatment but asymtomatic UU does not.
