For a little longer than a week I've had a white long skin tag type looking thing on the top of my tongue, it's almost at the tip of my tongue. It's not painful unless I pull on it. I've tried brushing it off with my toothbrush but that hasn't helped?

In brief: Inflamed papillae?

See your dentist for a one on one evaluation and recommendations.
No treatment may be necessary unless it's purely an annoyance to you and if it is nothing more than an inflamed papillae and cannot be resolved with routine use of a tongue blade, it can always be incised off. However, it could be other things as well so get a consult.
