My roommate was scratched (very lightly) by a stray cat the other day. Then a couple of days later I shared a drink with her. Could I get rabies from her?

First, it is pretty much impossible that your roommate will get rabies; it is transmitted by bites, not scratches, and requires the infected animal's saliva to get into the bloodstream. Even if you roommate got rabies you would only be at risk if she bit you.
