I've just started a new birthcontrol called ortho tri cyclen (ethinyl estradiol and norgestimate) 12 days ago and I've had my period 10 of those 12 days. Is this normal?

Irregular breakthrough bleeding is common when ever you start a new birth control.
Try and give it at least two months as these side effects tend to go away.
