After tonsillitis in June I have had a consistent sore throat that makes me feel as though I am choking, worse with fatigue. Tonsils remain swollen. I have had blood tests that came back negative, although showing glandular fever in the past.?

Tonsillitis. Infectious mononucleosis is a cause of prolonged tonsillitis and fatigue. The tonsils may remain swollen after the infection has resolved. If an Otolaryngologist finds no active inflammatory process in your throat, chronic anxiety and stress may be the cause of a sensation of a lump in the throat. Postinfection fatigue may last weeks. If your blood work has normalized I expect improvement soon.
