I have a nevus spilus with hair that is 2 and a half cm big on my leg. I heard they can become cancerous, should i worry about mine? How rare is it?

In brief: Stop worrying

Nevus spilus occasionally gives rise to melanomas but this is uncommon, and an extra-large / extra-ugly sploch will be clearly visible to your watchful eyes before the melanoma turns invasive and can hurt you.
Then you can get the melanoma excised. Leave the thing alone otherwise. Best wishes.
