Does accupuncture help with DVT or PE?

No. Haven't heard of needle acupuncture having any good or bad effect on deep venous thrombosis or pulmonary embolism. That said, using cupping or some other suction device on top of vein areas could create vein damage or a hematoma under the cup. Also, poking a needle through a vein would obviously create minor damage, and that would likely be a surface vein, but the full effects are hard to guess.
Dvt/acupuncture. Acupuncture does not help with DVT. The gold standards for the treatment of DVT are anticoagulation, compression and usually elevation. Anticoagulation is given to prevent the clot from both extending and possibly breaking off to travel to the lung.
