In brief: Adjunct only

I think it is unfounded.
Calcification isn't even the real problem in vascular disease, and vitamin k is simply a cofactor for the synthesis of the amino acid that often binds calcium. It set off my Bad Science detector. You are welcome to try it. It do 't spend too much money.

Dr Castelli, chief of the Framingham Heart Study for most of its history, recommends K2. But evidence for benefit is weak. Statins, exercise, BP control are very effective. Avoid red meat, fried foods, bacon, salami.
