Could a 1mm lung tumor cause any paraneoplastic syndrome? From my little knowledge these are related to small cell tumors? Thanks for any information

In brief: That's really tiny

Paraneoplastic syndromes from occult lung cancer are not subtle.
You're paralyzed, or very weak and can barely get out of bed, or you are suddenly blind, or are very and inexplicably hyponatremic, or you are stir-crazy. I'd dismiss paraneoplastic cushingism unless your face is strikingly red and puffy. 1 mm "spots" are extremely common in healthy folks; if considering surgery, be wary.

Thanks very much for your kind words and additional information. When I lived in rural Illinois and then in Kansas City, most of us had one or more little histoplasmosis granulomas. They're a non-problem. Best wishes.
