Local back pain from lifting weights. X-rays lumbar/pelvis/SI joint. Mild Ensteophyte formation at illiac crests. Is this common? Follow up needed?

Osteophytes are spurs. Osteophytes are bone spurs and accumulate with life and uncertain how much they are contributing to you back pain which can occur for lots of reasons - bone, disc, muscle, tendon, bursa etc. I suspect you had the osteophytes way before you were lifting weights. You need an evaluation for the reason you have back pain.
