I’m experiencing pain in one shin. At first I thought it was shin splints. But when touched in a certain spot, there is severe pain. Stress fracture?

In brief: Possibly

There are multiple potential causes, and among them could certainly be a stress fracture.
I would not hesitate to be seen and thoroughly evaluated.
