My echo conclusion said basal and mid inferoseptal hypokinetic. Visual EF was 55-60%. EF was 50.0 in report. Was this likely a heart attack?

In brief: Possibly

Wall motion abnormalities could indicate a prior injury to the heart from MI or trauma or may indicate a current perfusion problem that may be correctable.
Need evaluation by cardiologist to determining ne if abnormalities are old or current and whether or not they are correctable now. Your EF function is still well preserved and shouldnt limit your activites but if problem is current correct it
