Maybe... If you are young and prone to panic attacks, this could be from that, especially if this happens when you are sitting there doing nothing and not having much chest pain etc.. But if u are older, say >40 and never had this before, then yes, call ems--don't drive yourself...Seemingly dangerous if u can't even breath. When I goto sleep I have difficulty breathing, cold sweats and what feels like an irregular pulse, downward slope has 2 spikes on heart rate monitor.
