Are Parkinson's tremors intermittent or always present when at rest? Is Parkinson's the only cause of resting tremor?

In brief: Tremors are variable

In patients with Parkinson's Disease(PD), the degree of tremors is quite variable different patients.
The tremors can also vary depending on the effect of treatment as the medication works well for a few hours and then the effect wears off. Besides resting tremors, patients with PD have muscle rigidity which slows down their movements (Bradykinesia). No other condition causes resting tremors.
