I was discharged on Saturday 3rd June by Dr Seok Chan Noh. He included a script for 2.5 mg Oxybutynin to be taken as required. What is this for?

Oxybutynin. It is a bladder anti-spasmodic and is used to treat symptoms of overactive bladder such as incontinence. It is an anticholinergic medication used to relieve urinary and bladder difficulties, including frequent urination and inability to control urination.
Oxybutynin. Oxybutynin is given for overactive bladder ( incontinence ) . It can cause urine retention and blurry vision . .
Oxybutynin. This is essentially a sedative for the lower urinary tract to quiet an irritable or overactive urinary bladder which causes urinary frequency in small amounts. A side effect can be stoppage of urination or urinary retention, so be aware of that.
