Other problem? Retained stones in the duct can cause similar pain as prior to gallbladder removal. Stomach problems such as ulcers or gastritis can also be the cause. See your doctor/surgeon. You obviously need further evaluation if you still have the pain after surgery. You may need an upper endoscopy to evaluate the stomach for ulcers. Read more...

Could be related. This could be a "retained stone" and when you have one of these you should get it checked out.
