In brief: Depends on the cause

in both cases the answer to your questions depends upon what is the cause.
in general, right ventricular hypertrophy can lead to symptoms of right ventricular failure- leg swelling, right sided belly pain (from your liver becoming congested with blood), and abdominal swelling (from ascites fluid). it is impossible to predict your echo and ECG results. the only way to know is to repeat them

In brief: Likely little change

mild right ventricular hypertrophy, depending upon your age and activity, would not be expected to progress that rapidly.
