I have Fibromyalgia and degenerative disc disease, with 2 cervical and 2 lumbar disc protruding. I am having jerky involuntarily muscle spasms in arms?
Fibromyalgia won't. cause symptoms like these, altho a disc impinging on a cervical nerve root might. Regardless, what you're describing isn't normal and should be evaluated by a doctor. Best wishes. Dr. Anne.
With degenerative disc disease, facet arthrosis, nerve compression, buldging discs lumbar and cervical regions, synovial cyst posterior lumbar region in spine, continueum spasms, the need of surgery is the option as of now. I have been through all treatme
Unsure of question. Most surgeons exhaust non-operative care before recommending surgery. Non-operative care can include medications (anti-infammatory arthritis type medicine or pain medications), physical therapy, activity modification, exercise, bracing, chiropractic care, interventional pain management (injections), or alternative medical approaches. I have a bulging disc and degenerative disc disease in my lower back. I pulled a muscle in my lower back can that cause me to have knee pain with move?
Yes. yes, but @ age 25 deg disc disease is rather uncommon unless other factors involved . Back pain w/ nerve 'pinching' can cause knee pain BUT a good examination / history can normally distinguish between back and related nerve pain and a primary knee problem( tendinitis , kneecap ,etc.). My reccommation would be to see a board certified ORS if your symptoms persist . Best of Luck!! Read more...
