Waking up often during mornings with taste of blood (metallic?) in mouth. No blood when I spit out Is Mouth/Chest source? Also have high blood pressure
Drug side effect? In addition to infections (bronchial, sinus, etc), many drugs, including some used for high blood pressure, can cause abnormal taste sensations. Google "drug side effects" to find several resources where you can search your medications to see if they have this effect.
Morning. Most of the time this symptom emanates from the mouth or posterior nasal passages with some dripping of mucus. Apparently you don't have any associated bleeding. If you want to pursue this symptom further, consult an otolaryngologist for thorough examination of nose and throat. I don't think that the hypertension is responsible for your symptoms.
