Orthostatic changes. Hi BassemU867, your heart rate will increase when you sit/stand from lying down. A change like that is quite dramatic. You can see this in folks who are deconditioned, dehydrated, thyroid issues, lung disease, and heart disease. It seems a 34 y old should see their doctor if this is a persistent thing.
