In brief: Tends to be heavy

cabbage tends to be heavy on the stomach and many people experience increased gas.
probably won't hurt gastritis or an ulcer but probably won't help a lot either. broccoli is known to contain molecules that do help the stomach and is actually the source of molecules used in many reflux medications

In brief: Not much

Cabbage is rich in fiber.
Any food can stimulate production of acid and at the same time help absorption of some acid secreted in the stomach. Timely food consumption and taking antacids or GI antihistamines (H2 receptor blockers) to suppress excessive acid production can help gastritis and stomach ulcer. Not sure if consuming cabbage really helps treat those conditions.
