That is, the C2 (2nd cervical, or neck) vertebra has slipped slightly forward of C3, which is slightly forward of C4, etc. Normally the vertebra are stacked up in-line, like a stack of coins. If one of the "coins" (vertebra) is too far forward of the one below it, the tower of "coins" can fall. Similarly, the spine can fracture or cause arthritis. TTYD.
