Passing air/bubbles during urination (pneumaturia) usually indicative of a fistula (opening) between the bowel and bladder most commonly caused by diverticulitis or colon cancer.
Less often by a UTI. Otherwise, IF you're noticing bubbles only IN the toilet water, can be caused by excess protein in the urine but more often is insignificant and related to force of urine flow or type of bowl cleaner.
