Left arm numb/tingling/some pain. Very gassy. Saw Dr. Friday. Had an EKG. Dr. said I was dehydrated. Been drinking lots of water. Still have symptoms.
Go back to your. doctor and/or the ER. You may need some lab work and you should have a follow-up exam if your symptoms are continuing.
Left arm numbness of and on since march to present. Have had 5 ekg, ER visit with cbc, cmp, tropononin1 test. Vascular screen, all normal. What could b cause?
Maybe Orthopedic. Consider your cervical spine, which is where the nerves for your arm leave the spinal cord. You could have a pinched nerve. Also consider animpingement in the shoulder. A cervical MRI would reveal any impingement in the neck; make sure you get a weight-bearing MRI (done seated rather than laying down). An EMG would help determine if impingement is in occurring in the neck or shoulder. Read more...
Left arm numbness. Went to ER had an ekg, cbc, tropononin1 test all normal. Had a vascular screening for peace of mind, normal as well. Pinched nerve?
Possible. Could be a pinched nerve or nerve root as it exits your spinal canal or as it exits through your ribs. Worth getting checked out. A good exam by your doc or neurologist could confirm. You may need a nerve conduction test as well. Seek immediate care if you have weakness in the arm or hand. Read more...
