If your on pantoprazole & it stops your heartburn, does it mean the heartburn wasnt from any heart problem? Just want to know if there a difference.

In brief: Heartburn

If the distress is definitely relieved by that medication it would point to GERD and not a cardiac cause.
If you have further concerns, consult your physician or a gastroenterologist.

In brief: Good question

If your heartburn fully resolved it is likely you had heartburn but underlying cardiac disease w/risk factors like being male with hypercholesterolemia you need MD to assess the onset location intensity duration character and associated factors such as position and exertion.
Eliminate risk factors like smoking eat healthy and exercise. ACC says if 10 yr risk of ASCVD >7.5% should be on statin.
