I had mono but went to the doctor and all my bloods were fine. My spleen is still slightly swollen. Can I drink alcohol?

In brief: You decide

Alcohol is detoxified by liver cells along with other body wastes.
Mono tends to create some liver injury/sensitivity which increases the toxic effect of alcohol on the liver.Death of liver cells can & does occur sometimes in this setting. The liver can re-grow cells & recover, but since you only have one it would be reasonable to take care of it by delaying or reducing alcohol during your recovery
