In brief: Ear exam

You need an in person exam by MD with an otoscope to see if you have otitis media.
You can take amoxicillin or augmentin while nursing if you have otitis media. Go to urgent care.

Antibiotics are not without risks and inevitably disrupt our microbiome. Most otitis media is self-limited (much of it viral) and often resolves without antibiotics. In brief: Homeopathy, herbs...

Most sore throats are viral; your earache is likely also related to the sore throat/virus.
If you haven't been taking Vit D that is crucial, esp. if nursing, so take 5000 iu of D3/day. Take 1000 mg of Vit C every 2-3 hours. Umcka is a safe herb proven effective for colds, available at health food stores. Try Sovereign Silver- swish with 1 tsp 4x/day. See http://tinyurl.com/jqms4jy re: homeopathy.
