Just want to know the inherent risks and the odds of delivering a baby at 46 yrs old? I'm concerned and want to know what to look for.

Varies. Much of this varies with the general health of the mother, since pregnancy is a significant stress on the body.Pre-existing conditions can make complications more likely. All pregnancies start at ~4% risk of unexpected outcome. At that age, the risk of Down syndrome or other chromosome defect ranges between 1/30 to 1/50.If mom is healthy & monitored, chances are she will have a successful pretgnancy.
