In brief: Yes
Ibuprofen can help with the muscle and bone aches.
Dont take more than recommended amount, consult you doctor is on other meds such as high blood pressure meds or have stomach or kidney problems, or having difficulty stopping vicodin, other meds may be helpful with other symptoms of withdrawal.

In brief: Get doc's advise
I am just concerned when patients wean off of narcotics without their doctors advise.
You can have withdrawal symptoms if too fast, too soon. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory meds like Ibuprofen will not prevent these reactions. Nsaids though are mild pain killers so they can somewhat replace the analgesic effects of the vicodin. Go slow and talk with your doctor if you don't feel well.
