Are seasonal allergies to blame for my 6 year old daughters mild cough? No runny sneezy nose - which would be the classic symptom ...

In brief: Variable

A "mild cough" in a 6 year old could certainly be allergies especially if she is rubbing her nose a lot, has dark circles under her eyes, or dry skin in patches on her arms and legs.
If she has a history of respiratory infections she should certainly see her pediatrician to be sure.

Chronic cough can be a sign of reactive airway disease (mild asthma). Her dr. will probably do pulmonary function tests.
