My doctor has diagnosed me as (possible m.S.) I am having problems with constant bladder infections. Why does my urine feel heavy, smell awful, ?
Chronic UTI. Multiple sclerosis and other neurologic issues may adversely impact on bladder functioning. This may lead to include bladder emptying, recurrent uti's, and increased back pressure on the kidneys. You should see a urologist and a neurologist. You need urine testing, renal and bladder ultrasound and you may need your bladder function tested with urodynamics.
UTI, inflammation. Having these symptoms may occur from several causes. Of course, a urinary tract infection should be ruled out or urinary retention. Once obstruction and infection has been ruled out, medications can aid in alleviating these symptoms. Malodorous urine by itself is not diagnostic of a UTI and therefore these symptoms need further evaluation.
