My 11-yo son has been getting bad headaches in temples last three nights. He had minor concussion a few months ago - not sure if related. Could just be a migraine - have been alternating ibuprofen/tylenol, minor relief. What else should we do?

Probably unrelated. A concussion can cause headaches and/or lower the threshold for a headaches shortly after the concussion (within a couple of weeks). However, it's hard to connect these headaches now with a concussion months ago. Think about other causes of headaches- stress, low blood sugar, eye fatigue/poor vision, infections, dehydration, etc. Of course, see your pediatrician if not improving.
