In brief: No but some can help
Helpful weight loss diets include natural foods that take time to chew but contain few calories.
Examples include carrots, celery, and iceberg lettuce (without salad dressing). When shopping for fruits, buy small ones no bigger than a tennis ball, because fruits contain natural sugar. Drinks without calories include water and green tea. A calorie is a calorie, regardless of where it comes from.

No such things as weight loss foods!! Some have fewer calories per measure but none cause weight loss!

Bariatrics
In brief: Creating satiety-
It is absolutely true, that a calorie is a calorie.
But, it often helps to know that proteins and fats delay gastric emptying in the patient-(this could / would be different with some types of gastric surgery). Thus, we could feel fuller--and consume less calories, even though a food as olive oil has 9 calories per gram-more than twice that of carbohydrates. You can make food choices that could help.

There's no thermogenic foods, per say. However, there are food that you may eat that don't have as much of a detrimental effect on health. There are certain supplements that may help, but those are questionable!
In brief: Bluebarry.No POP!!
Not really.Stop pop and snucking on carbs.
