Every day, leading up to the feeling of passing a bowel movement, I experience severe nausea sometimes to the point of vomiting. Why does this happen?

In brief: Vagus nerve

The vagus nerve, when reflexively stimulated by an urge to have a bowel movement, may cause transient nausea.

Difficult to say. ?part of an irritable bowel syndrome in which case taking an antispasmodic like bentyl before meals may avoid urgent bowel movements and the nausea.
