I have a very sore throat, chest congestion, cough, and itchy ears. It has been 2 days and it is only getting worse. What could this be?

Congestion. Likely a viral illness. Can take a week to 10 days to run its course. Typically medicate symptoms and stay well hydrated.
Ear infection. Sounds most likely to be an upper respiratory virus. Treatment is just symptomatic. Lots of liquids, mucous thinners, humidification, tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin for fever.
