Started class at a gym last week. Tonight I got pressure chest pains on left side when working out. Went away after sitting for a few. No swelling.

If the pain was dull and brought on by activity and stopped at rest you should see a doctor. If exercise or exertion brings it back on stop immediately and go to the emergency room. Sharp stabbing pain is less likely heart.

Classes if U notice have a lot of young FIT girls or women, & then U R in the wrong class. Talk 2 an AT-C, & get a program that fits Ur needs & abilities, & a class of Ur peers meaning the same condition as U.
