In brief: Very rare

Hiprex is an old drug used for urinary infections only.
Allergy with hives, itching, tight throat and even trouble breathing is very rare. Reaction to the drug such as nausea when taken on empty stomach and occas soft stool or diarrhea is not allergy. Hiprex is an antibiotic that can be used for Longterm chronic infections of urinary tract. One of our safer, relatively inexpensive meds.
