What is the definition or description of: Amobarbital sodium allergy?

Depends. IgE mediated: hives, swelling , itching, shoc, breathing difficulties, etc Cell-mediated: itchy or non-itchy skin rash Undefined: Steven Johnsons syndrome which can be fatal These are all considered immunologically mediated although IgE mediated conditions are usually considered true allergy. Amobarbital allergy is not that common partly because it is not that frequently used.
