In brief: Depends on your def
Most pediatricians recommend not starting solid foods until closer to 6 mo, and of course starting with rice cereal.
Starting with rice cereal between 4-6 mo is acceptable, and stage i foods at 6 mo. Table foods, which are typical "solids" are not indicated until closer to 9 mo. And choking hazards are always an issue. No matter how many teeth, there probably won't be any chewing until 12 mo or so.

In brief: Definitely not
Being able to chew and swallow properly is a developmental achievement.
It doesnt have anything to do with having teeth. Babies are usually ready by 9 mo of age to start experimenting with some more solid foods (cheerios, soft pastas, finger snacks). Check with your pediatrician at 9 mo check up if your baby is ready.

Years ago, breastfeading was frowned on & many made "formula" from boiled cow milk&karo.
Since cow milk is designed for calves, infants were fed early & often to make up for deficiences. Now that breast is back, or formulas mimic breast, solids are optional. The sitting child is more capable of participating & few sit before 6m. Babies can wait past a year and thrive.Teeth are irrelevant

Much to early. Front teeth used for biting, not chewing.
Your child's system not ready for solid foods @ age 4. See your pediatrician for specific guidelines and follow them.
