In brief: Neuro specialist

You may have a condition called meralgia paresthetica but as the burning goes into your knee, you should have an MRI and see a neurologist or neurosurgeon to make sure this is not a herniated disk or problem with the L3 or L4 nerve.
Sometimes far lateral disks can cause pressure on a nerve ganglion and cause those symptoms. Seek a specialist to help clear it up.
