How low must one's iron level be in order to be given Iron Infusion Injections?? My hemoglobin is at 9.6. Is this critically low or not too bad?

In brief: Not critical

Your hemoglobin is low but no where near critically low.
Try taking oral iron and multivitamins. If after doing that for six months, there is no improvement, then it would be time to discuss intravenous iron treatment with your doctor. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Drink enough water daily so that your urine is mostly colorless. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine.
