Curious if dysautonomia can cause seizures? I have a seizure disorder (on meds) &recently diagnosed w/POTS, Doc said POTS was due to dysautonomia.

In brief: It depends

In general, dysautonomia and seizures could occur independently and this is the case in most patients.
However, there is no simple answer to your question. Seizures can cause autonomic changes (depending on seizure type) and people could seize after a syncopal episode (syncope can be due to dysautonomia). You should meet with your physician to see if they think the 2 conditions are related.
