In brief: Could be PAF

Paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (paf) is seen in some young persons, especially athletes, after alcohol consumption.
It typically occurs late in the evening, at rest or during sleep, but not with exertion. If it fits this pattern, it's called "vagal atrial fibrillation" because it's due to increased activity of the vagus nerve. It is quite benign and usually self terminating. U need a heart monitor.
